Solid pins, as key components in standard mold parts, are mainly used for positioning and connection in automotive molds, stamping dies, and other similar applications.
Solid pins are typically made of cemented carbide as the main material. This material combines high hardness and wear resistance, allowing it to withstand the friction and impact generated during repeated mold opening and closing. During manufacturing, grinding and polishing processes control the surface roughness to an extremely low level, coupled with a precision requirement of 0.005 mm, ensuring minimal gap between the pin and the mold hole, thereby improving positioning stability. Some products also undergo quenching treatment to further enhance their fatigue resistance.
